I have a few men that will probably read this blog, but let’s be real, we normally have to spell our gifts out for them. The first year I met my husband he surprised me with a beach cruiser bike—I was super impressed. Some years he’s totally on his game and others he needs my guidance, but at the end of the day, I’m pretty good at giving my list to him. Throughout the year I usually buy clothes, shoes, and skincare products and then save the bigger items for my Christmas list or birthday.
If you’re still searching for the perfect gift for the woman in your life, here are a few items that will earn you brownie points. And if some of you ladies out there are still looking for ideas for yourself, these are no-brainers.
1. Parachute Waffle Bathrobe
I love a good bathrobe to wrap myself in once I hop out of the shower. For years it’s been my thing to get into my bathrobe and get ready after my shower. I used to reach for heavy bathrobes, but after the winter months passed I would find myself dripping in sweat after just showering. As the years have gone by, I’ve hunted for a cozy but lightweight bathrobe and it has been nearly impossible to find the right one.
I kept hearing about this company called Parachute and the reviews were stellar. I decided to take a gamble for my last birthday and I ordered the waffle bathrobe. It’s honestly everything I thought it would be. Another bonus is that it’s not crazy expensive and worth it since you wear it daily!
2. Ugg Slippers
These slippers make everything better whether you’re walking around the house doing laundry, cooking, or just putting your feet up to watch a movie. They’re super soft and you’re able to even wear them outside. I’m not going to lie—some mornings I just put them on and run out the door with my coffee to drive the kids to school!
3. Beautycounter Bright Side Duo
I switched up my skincare routine a few years back and have cleaned it up majorly ever since. One of my favorite clean brands I found was Beautycounter. It has changed my skin completely and I find lots of comfort in knowing that I’m not slathering chemicals all over my face. This handy little gift set has my favorite two products wrapped in one!
4.Athleta Elation 7/8 Tights
As I’ve gotten older, workout clothes have been a daily item I wear, but there’s one catch, I’m super picky when it comes to athletic attire. I love buttery soft leggings that don’t ride down and need something comfy I can wear all day since I’m always on the go. I found Athleta years ago because I had a gift certificate and I’ve never looked back. Every piece of leggings in my dresser are Athleta brand. They’re worth the price because they don’t loose their color or shape after tons of washes.
5. Massage or Facial
I know this might seem obvious but there’s truly nothing better than for a woman to get away for a couple of hours to just relax her mind and body. I don’t care how many massages or facials I get, it never gets old. I feel like a giddy little girl hopping into my car and just spending that time in a state of relaxation. It just recharges my battery to full. This would be such a great gift for any woman in your life that needs the gift of alone time.
6. Le Creuset Dutch Oven
This is hands down one of the most used pieces in my kitchen. I bought my first dutch oven years ago and still cook so many soups and dishes in it weekly. It’s not only a show stopper on your stove, but it will last forever and it’s certainly worth the price. If you have a cook in your house, this would be a gift that would get much excitement.
7. Sorel Explorer Fur Lined Boot
I bought these for myself a few years back and they’re still my go-to boots for winter. Yes, I live near the beach in Southern California and I still wear winter boots. Believe it or not, we get colder nights and mornings here and these boots warm up my feet and have a stylish look when paired with jeans or leggings. They’re also great to have handy when heading up to the snow with the family.
8. Sur La Tab Rosle Garlic Press
If you’ve been following me for a while, you likely know that I’m in the kitchen 24/7. When I got this garlic press as a Christmas gift from my sister-in-law, I didn’t realize how much I would love it. I literally use this garlic press on a daily basis. It’s such a great gift that keeps on giving.
9. Aloha Beach Tote Bag
I absolutely love this bag and used it all last summer! It’s lightweight and waterproof. It would be perfect for the person that goes to the beach, pool, or travels often. It’s the ideal bag to use for a weekend getaway or a day trip to the beach.
10. Apple Watch
I got my Apple Watch last Christmas and it’s on my wrist daily. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I would even use it but now I can’t imagine not having it. From tracking my calories, which totally pushes me every day, to getting calls and messages without being next to your phone. It helps with someone that is on the go and loves to track their fitness.
